What is the Reading Program?

The Minot Hot Tots & Honeybees don’t just love bringing FUN to the ballpark over summer, but we’re also dedicated to bringing FUN to the classroom with the Hot Tots & Honeybees Reading Program presented by Farmers Union Insurance! Our FREE Reading Program encourages students in Minot and surrounding areas to read. The more students read, the more opportunities they have to earn awesome prizes!

The Hot Tots & Honeybees Reading Program is completely FREE and will help students find a love for reading while being rewarded for hitting their reading goals, out of the park!

This Year

There’s limited spots remaining, so submit the form below to save a spot for your school. As kids round the bases they will receive the following prizes:

• First Base – Hot Tots/Honeybees Bookmark AND a Free Kids Meal at Schatz Crossroads
• Second Base – Hot Tots Pencil AND a Free Pass for the Zipline at Medora
• Third Base – Hot Tots Eraser
• Home Run – FREE Ticket to a Hot Tots Game

How It Works

Teachers set their own reading goals for their classrooms. These goals can be based on books completed, pages read, time spent reading etc. It’s completely up to you!

• Each time a student completes one of their goals, they’ll be awarded a prize! If a student hits a homerun, they get the chance to attend a Minot Hot Tots game THIS summer for free!
• Each school will receive a FUN and exciting video to kick-off the reading program. The video explains how the reading program works and gets students ready to read! Schools can even choose to host a Reading Program assembly for their students.
• A Hot Tots representative will follow up with any additional information.
