On Monday morning, rosters were announced for the upcoming Northwoods League All-Star Game in Madison, Wisconsin. The Minot Hot Tots will be sending two representatives to the game in outfielders Henry Allen and Matt Toomey.

As the Northwoods League’s leader in home runs and RBI, Henry Allen’s inclusion to the All-Star was in no doubt. The soon-to-be Georgia Bulldog has spent his summer playing each day for the Minot Hot Tots. In 40 games to this point, Allen is hitting a team-best .348 with a 1.052 OPS. As earlier mentioned, Allen’s 11 home runs and 41 runs batted in rank first across the NWL. While Henry now has plans to suit up in the All-Star Game, there is a chance we could see him perform a day earlier as part of the NWL Home Run Challenge.

For Matt Toomey, a full summer of hustle earned him an All-Star nomination. A fan favorite at Corbett Field, Toomey’s great range in center field and aggressiveness on the base paths makes him one of the more fun players to watch in the Northwoods. The Long Beach State freshman has hit .326 over 37 games with a .440 on-base percentage. When on base, Toomey gets moving. He broke the Hot Tots single-season record for stolen bases on Saturday with his 17th stolen bag.

Watch these two all-stars in action as they represent the Hot Tots and Great Plains Division at the 2025 Northwoods League All-Star Game in Madison, Wisconsin. The game will be streamed on the free NWL+ platform with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 pm CT on Wednesday, July 16.
