HOT TOTS SIGN FARGO PRODUCT

North Dakota State Bison to Join the Hot Tot’s 2023 Roster

MINOT, ND – The Minot Hot Tots have announced that they have signed an in-state product for the 2023 season. Zach Kluvers from Fargo, North Dakota and North Dakota State Baseball will be a hometown hero for the Minot Hot Tots inaugural season.

North Dakota State University is a member of the Summit League and recently won the conference and made the NCAA Tournament in the 2021 season. NDSU also won the Summit League regular season championship in 2022. The Bison have produced four big leaguers in program history and the campus is approximately four hours away from Corbett Field in Minot.

Zach Kluvers is a redshirt sophomore infielder who went to Fargo Davies High School, where he was an all-state player. He was on the Summit League Commissioner’s list of Academic Excellence in 2022. In 2022, Kluvers hit .267 and looks to add to the infield of the Hot Tots in 2023.

Coach Mitchell Gallagher is pumped to add a slew of Division I experience to the ballclub. “Zach is a great addition to our team this year,” said Gallagher. “He’s a plus defender that can hold it down at shortstop but will also be versatile and float around the infield for us!”

Fans will be able to see the hometown hero play for the Hot Tots this summer at Corbett Field. More roster announcements and season updates will be coming soon, and fans are encouraged to sign up for the Hot Tots e-newsletter and follow them on social media to be the first in the know.
