Monica Hocking is currently in her third season as the General Manager of the Minot Hot Tots and her second season in the role of General Manager for the Minot Honeybees Northwoods League softball team. Originally from Papillion, Nebraska, Monica moved to North Dakota in 2019 to join the Bismarck Larks baseball team, also part of the Northwoods League. During her time with the Larks, she gained extensive experience across various departments, including sponsorship sales and activation, inside ticket sales, operations, and special events. Most recently, Monica served as the General Manager of Funatix Events, a full-service event company associated with the Larks.
Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Management, with minors in Communications and Mathematics, from Missouri State University. While at Missouri State, she also competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer. Her passion for sports began early as a die-hard fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team. Monica is dedicated to using sports, events, and FUN to positively impact people’s lives.
Now a resident of Minot, Monica shares her home with her husband, Dylan, their golden retriever, Odell, and their standard poodle, Daisy.
