MINOT, ND – The Minot Hot Tots, in partnership with the Minot Park District, received a $300,000 donation from the Gokey Family and Northern Bottling Co. Their generosity will fund a brand-new digital scoreboard at Corbett Field.
Northern Bottling Co. — a locally owned Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and beverage distribution company — has been giving back to the communities it serves since its founding in 1951. With this latest donation to the Minot Park District, the Gokey Family and Northern Bottling Co. have now contributed more than $2.5 million to support local parks, recreation, and youth athletics in the Magic City.
The Minot Hot Tots and Honeybees are extremely grateful for Northern Bottling’s support in bringing a state-of-the-art digital scoreboard to Corbett Field. The new addition will elevate the fan experience and bring a modern touch to Minot’s most historic ballpark.
“We are beyond grateful to the Gokey Family and Northern Bottling Co. for this incredibly generous gift to the Corbett Field facility, and all of its user groups,” said Hot Tots General Manager Monica Hocking. “For the Hot Tots and Honeybees, this new scoreboard will help us create an even better – and more fun – experience for our fans. From exciting visuals to new ways to engage with the crowd, this upgrade will take game days to a whole new level. We’re so thankful for their continued support of our teams and our community.”
The Hot Tots and Minot Park District once again thank the Gokey Family and Northern Bottling Co. for their ongoing commitment to the Minot community.
