What is the Reading Program?

The Minot Hot Tots don’t just love bringing FUN to the ballpark over summer, but we’re also dedicated to bringing FUN to the classroom with the Hot Tots Reading Program! The Hot Tots Reading Program presented by Farmers Union Insurance encourages students in Minot and surrounding areas to read. The more students read, the more opportunities they have to earn awesome prizes!

The Hot Tots Reading Program is completely FREE and will help students find a love for reading while being rewarded for hit those reading goals, out of the park!

NEW THIS YEAR

Farmers Union Insurance is keeping the perks coming, but offering a FREE camp to one lucky kiddo who hit a home run during the 2024 Reading Program.

That’s right, send your hardworking kiddo to summer camp for FREE, for all of the goals the accomplished this summer. Fill out the form below for a chance to win a FREE Famers Union Camp Experience! Learn more about the camps here!

How It Works

Teachers set their own reading goals for their classrooms. These goals can be based on books completed, pages read, time spent reading etc. It’s completely up to you!

Each time a student completes one of their goals, they’ll be awarded a prize! If a student hits a homerun, they get the chance to attend a Minot Hot Tots game THIS summer for free!
Each school will receive a FUN and exciting video to kick-off the reading program. The video explains how the reading program works and gets students ready to read! Select schools can even choose to host a Reading Program assembly for their students.
A Hot Tots representative will follow up with any additional information.
