The Northwoods League is recognizing outstanding moms throughout the season. If you know a baseball or softball mom who deserves the spotlight—whether she’s cheering from the stands, driving to every game, or simply believing in her player—nominate her today.

Fill out the nomination form below. Each month during the season, we’ll recognize one incredible mom on the Northwoods League website and social media accounts.

Thanks to Modern Woodmen of America, the Mommy of the Month will receive:

  • Recognition on the Northwoods League website and social media accounts;
  • Modern Woodmen co-branded shirt/jersey

One mom will be selected per month during the 2026 Northwoods League season.

June winner: Nicole Hallman

Her name is Nicole Hallman, and she is, without question, the loudest and biggest fan our family has ever had. For years she’s been the heartbeat of every season — the voice you hear over the whole ballpark, the one keeping GameChanger so every at-bat and every call was logged, the mom who never missed a moment. Now our son is umpiring in the Northwoods League, chasing his dream hundreds of miles from home, and Nicole is still all in. In fact, we’re about to surprise him on the road just to see him work a game — because that’s who she is. She shows up. She believes. She loves her kids louder than anyone in the stands. If anyone deserves to be celebrated as Mommy of the Month, it’s Nicole.
