Pit Spitters Unveil Action-Packed 2026 Promotional Schedule!

Traverse City, MI, April 15, 2026 – Get ready, Pit Spitters fans! The 2026 season at Turtle Creek Stadium is shaping up to be our most exciting yet, packed with unforgettable theme nights, dazzling fireworks, and the return of fan-favorite promotions. We’ve got something for everyone this season!

First up to bat, are our day-of-the-week promotions, and there is a ton to get excited about! Family Sundays presented by Great Wolf Lodge kick off the week and the first 250 kids through the gates eat FREE! Plus, you don’t want to miss out on pre-game autographs and kids run the bases postgame every Sunday! Mondays feature a different ballpark ‘deal’ each week, and Tuesdays are ‘Barks and Dawgs’ presented by Ferris State University. Bring your dog to the ballpark, and enjoy discounted beverages every Tuesday! Wednesdays continue as our Salute to Service brought to you by Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel offering half-price box seat tickets for all veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and snowplow drivers. Up next is 2-3-1 Thursdays featuring $2 hotdog and Pepsi Products, $3 Domestic Drafts and $1 Great Lakes Chips! But, nothing screams summer quite like Firework Fridays, lighting up the sky after every Friday night game and select non- Friday’s this season! Spit-tacular Saturdays round out the line up featuring awesome giveaways and appearances all summer long and half-off tickets for fans 50 or better at the box office.

The Pit Spitters also have some incredible Theme Nights to highlight, and we’re pulling out all the stops- mark your calendars for:

• Post-game movie night, Sunday, May 31^st– Stick around after the final out as the ballpark transforms into an outdoor theater! Grab a spot on the field, get cozy with friends and family, and enjoy a fan-favorite movie on the big screen at Turtle Creek Stadium. Pajamas encouraged!
• Spit on Cancer Night, Saturday, June 20^th – Baseball is fun, but making a difference is even better. Join us as we honor and support those impacted by cancer with special jerseys and fundraising efforts for Munson Healthcare. This night is about strength, resilience, and rallying together as a community!
• Super Splash Day! Tuesday, June 18^th, at 11:05 a.m. – There won’t be a dry eye in the house for this one, because it’s SUPER SPLASH DAY at Turtle Creek Stadium! Get out of the summer heat and join the Pit Spitters during our day game and bring your bathing suit, cause you’re gonna get wet!
• Father’s Day Game, Sunday, June 21^st– Celebrate Dad at the ballpark with a day full of fun, family, and baseball! All dads will receive a stylish aviator sunglasses giveaway, because nothing says “cool dad” like shades and a summer day at Turtle Creek Stadium.
• America’s 250^th Birthday, Friday, July 3^rd– Celebrate 250 years of America with an unforgettable night at Turtle Creek Stadium! Enjoy a spectacular postgame fireworks display, a special jersey auction benefitting the 4Front Foundation, and a hat giveaway for the first 500 fans presented by 4Front Credit Union. It’s a red, white, and blue celebration you won’t want to miss!
• Star Wars Night, Saturday, July 18^th– Join us for an epic evening filled with intergalactic fun, themed entertainment, and maybe even a few surprise visits from your favorite characters. Whether you’re part of the Rebellion or loyal to the Empire, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Lightsabers, costumes, and Star Wars-themed fun, this IS the game you’re looking for! A jersey auction caps off the evening benefiting the JH Rogers Observatory.
• Brunch at the Ballpark July 19^th at 1:05 p.m.- Baseball and brunch? Say less. Good food, great vibes, and a perfect way to spend your afternoon at Turtle Creek Stadium! Elevate your Sunday at the ballpark with a special brunch buffet add-on for just $45.
• Throwback to 1996, Friday, August 7^th– We’re rewinding the clock and bringing all the ‘90s nostalgia to Turtle Creek Stadium! From throwback vibes to classic hits, this night is all about reliving 1996 in style. Dust off your denim, grab your crew, and get ready for a totally rad night at the ballpark! This game, and its awesome 90’s inspired giveaway are both presented by DTE!

Back by popular demand: Corgis & Wieners Night, A Tribute to Taylor, and our Princess and Superhero Night!
