Pit Spitters Fan Food Vote Finalists Announced

Traverse City, MI, April 27, 2026 – It’s time to eat your heart out, Pit Spitters fans, literally! The annual Fan Food Vote contest finalists are revealed, and this year we’re bringing the flavor and the fun with five over-the-top finalists, all ready for your vote.

After combing through a wide range of wildly creative submissions from across Northern Michigan, the Pit Spitters are proud to unveil the L-E-T-T-E-R C-H-A-L-L-E-N-G-E creations (see what we did there?) competing for a spot on this summer’s Turtle Creek Stadium menu. This year’s theme required a lot of creativity, because only the letters T, C, P, or S could be used in the creation of the submissions!

“We’re thrilled to involve our fans in the voting process once again,” said Ethan Coomes, Food and Beverage Manager for the Pit Spitters. “We wanted to create a challenge this year, and these unique finalists truly represent the creativity of our fans. We can’t wait to see which one will win over the hearts and taste buds of Spitters fans everywhere!”
