Pit Spitters, Leprechauns Postponed

 

Royal Oak, MI – June 20, 2024 – Tonight’s scheduled Great Lakes Division series game at Memorial Park between the Traverse City Pit Spitters and the Royal Oak Leprechauns was postponed in the top of the seventh inning due to loss of power.

Thursday’s game will resume on Wednesday, July 3rd, and the time is yet to be determined. The game will pick up during the top of the seventh inning, with bases empty, no outs, and the Leprechauns leading 9-7. The postponement is the first of the Pit Spitters 2024 season.

The Pit Spitters will travel back to Traverse City for the start of a six-game home stand that features the Rockford Rivets, Royal Oak Leprechauns, and the Madison Mallards. The Pit Spitters will transform into the Up North Cork Dorks tomorrow night as they welcome the Rivets for a two-game series.
