The Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League are excited to announce that “Shirts Off Our Back Night” presented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans jersey auction will begin via email starting August 3^rd.   Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Willmar Area Food Shelf as well.

There will be a silent auction during the game on August 9^th for fans to place bids on all jerseys.  Bids will be accepted during the game through the 7^th inning.  Winners will be announced later that night.  100% proceeds from the Stingers Jersey Auction will be given to the Willmar Area Food Shelf.

To bid on the jerseys, please send your email bid to nick@willmarstingers.com or place a bid during the game on August 9^th at the booth inside the stadium.  For the email bid to be official, your email must include the jersey you wish to bid on, the amount, and your contact information (name, phone, email).  Email bids and silent auction bids at the game will be accepted through the 7^th inning.  The Stingers website will be updated after each half inning with the highest bid. 

The minimum bid for each jersey is $50.  If you wish to purchase the jersey outright prior to August 9^th, the purchase price is $150. The last day to buy the jerseys outright is August 8^th at 5:00 pm.  After that, each jersey will be auctioned normally with the highest bidder winning the jersey.
