Willmar, Minn.- After a 14-7 loss against the Bismarck Larks on Wednesday, the Stingers returned home and changed their fortune, defeating the Waterloo Bucks by a final score of 11-0.

The tone was set early by Corey Binger (Minnesota St), going seven strong shutout innings, striking out six and allowing just two earned runs. The performance was good enough to earn Binger CDI player of the game honors.

Offensively the Stingers compiled 10 hits, including a Caleb Ricca (Northwestern State) three run shot to left center field in the third inning, part of a five run inning for Willmar.

In Total Willmar scored 11 runs and improved their record to 13-10 on the season.

Willmar will play Waterloo in game two tomorrow night at 7:05.
