Twenty-two Different Options Will Be Available To Fans

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in partnership with Stevens Point Brewery are thrilled to announce the initial offerings to be available in the Point Craft River for the 2015 season. Stevens Point Brewery, through distributor General Beer – Northeast, will provide 16 of the 22 choices for fans seated in the area, while the other six options will be provided by S&S Distributing.

The Point Craft River is the new venue located down the third baseline at Witter Field, with a built in river system that will deliver canned craft beer to fans via rafts down a live water current. A reserved ticket is $30 and includes a seat at the water-powered bar while a general admission ticket is $27 and will provide access to tables behind the bar. Food will also be provided through the end of the fifth inning as part of the ticket price along with the unlimited craft drinks. The venue will be available to both the walk-up crowd as well as groups of any size.

The Point Craft River will provide fans with a wide array of beer selections to go with the all-you-can-eat amenities in the newest seating venue at Witter Field. Of the 16 selections provided through General Beer- Northeast, 13 will come directly from Stevens Point Brewery. Old favorites like Point Special and Point Amber will be featured alongside new options such as Point Coast Radler and Point Apricadabra. Three beers from the James Page Brewing Company, which is owned by Stevens Point Brewery, will also be feature with the Casper White Stout, Pineapple Hefeweizen, and the Yabba Dhaba Chai Tea Porter. Cider fans will have three options to choose from with Cider Boys First Press, Strawberry Magic, and Peach County all being offered.

S&S Distributing in Marshfield will provide the remaining six offerings. Summer favorite Shock Top Lemon Shandy will be available in a can for the first time at Witter Field. New Belgium Brewing Company will feature three selections in the Point Craft River with Fat Tire Amber Ale, Ranger IPA, and Slow Ride Sessions IPA available to choose from. The final two offerings will come from the Horny Goat Brewing Company in Milwaukee, with their Watermelon Wheat, and Hopped Up N’ Horny on the menu.

Point Craft River Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Rafters Ticket Office at 715-424-5400, or stopping by the Rafthouse at Witter Field Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
