Rafters Ride 4 Game Win Streak into Battle Creek

Wisconsin Rapids looks to continue success against Bombers

                    

Battle Creek, Mich- The Rafters look to continue their winning ways against the Bombers tonight at C.O. Brown Stadium. The Rafters have not lost to Battle Creek this season, and have also won their last four games. The Rafters have been playing their best baseball of the summer the past four games. The offense has exploded while Jay Peters (Uw-Milwaukee) and Brian Russell (College of Staten Island) just had their two best starts of 2015.

 

Adam Hall (Xavier) will be on the mound tonight in Battle Creek. The right-hander is 2-2 with a 3.35 ERA this summer. Opposing him on the mound will be Alex Hermeling (Ohio State). He is having an impressive season as well, with a record of 2-3 and a 1.39 ERA. He also has four complete games in 2015 as well.

 

The Rafters return to C.O. Brown Stadium again tomorrow, before heading to Kalamazoo for a weekend series. First pitch for tonight and tomorrow’s game will be at 6:05 PM C.S.T.. The Rafters will not return to Witter Field until July 14th  when they will face off against the Madison Mallards.
