Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin – While the Rafters are away, the fans will play as Witter Field will host CurdFest on Sunday, August 2 to determine the best deep fried and fresh cheese curds in central Wisconsin. The event, which takes place from noon to 4 p.m., is free to the public and will feature entertainment for kids and adults, as well as live music.

The Rafters, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, will have a handful of local cheese vendors offering samples of fried and fresh cheese curds, including dill and chipotle curds among other varieties. Additional curds and other food options are available for purchase from the vendors on hand, as well as a limited menu from the Witter Field concessions and beer stands. Fans will have a chance to vote on their favorite curds.

Bro Country will provide live music for the event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be inflatables and bounce houses for kids, along with ladder golf and beersbee, among other yard games, for the adults in attendance.
