All-Inclusive Venue Featuring Water-Powered Bar Gaining In Popularity

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – Following a successful debut during the 2015 season, the Point Craft River will once again provide Rafters fans with a unique all-inclusive seating venue to enjoy this summer at historic Witter Field. Located beneath the Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa Rat Trap, on the third base side of the field, the 80-foot long structure features over 20 varieties of local Stevens Point Brewery craft beer. The Rafters ticket office is currently taking group reservations for the venue for the 2016 season.

The highlight feature of the Point Craft River is a built in river system that delivers canned craft beer to the fans via rafts down a live water current. The all-inclusive venue provides fans an opportunity to purchase a $27 (general admission) or $32 (reserved seat at the bar) game ticket, giving them unlimited craft beer through the end of the seventh inning. An unlimited food buffet is provided through the end of the fifth inning as part of the ticket price as well. The reserved ticket includes a seat at the water-powered bar, while the general admission ticket will provide access to tables behind the bar. The venue is available to both the walk-up crowd as well as groups of any size.

All groups or the first 30 fans that purchase a reserved seat to the Point Craft River each night receive a numbered raft and a beverage menu and will sit in the seat that corresponds to the number on their raft. A row of six high top tables is located behind the bar area for the general admission ticket holders in the venue. The general admission ticket comes with all of the same amenities of the reserved seat except for the individually numbered raft and direct access to the river.

Partnership with Stevens Point Brewery, was the driving force behind bringing the state-of-the-art venue to Witter Field. Seventy-five percent of the craft beers offered in the Point Craft River are provided by Point Brewery, which has the naming rights and sponsorship of the area.

Tickets for the Point Craft River will go on sale Friday, April 22nd at 9am, in conjunction with single game ticket sales. Groups that wish to reserve space at the Point Craft River can do so by calling the Rafters ticket office at 715-424-5400 or by stopping into the Rafthouse Team Shop Monday through Friday between 9am-5pm.
