Rafters To Hold Fundraiser Following Community Tragedy


Funds Raised To Provide Aid For Family Memorial

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will offer a special ticket package for the game against the Rockford Rivets on Monday, June 13th to assist in raising funds for a local family following recent events. Tragedy struck the Wisconsin Rapids community a short time ago with the heartbreaking deaths of Paige and Devon Bohn. The Rafters hope to rally the support of the community to aid a family in need.

For the game on Monday, June 13th, fans can purchase a ticket for $15 that will include: a ticket to that evening’s game, hot dog, 16 oz. fountain soda, and a Rafters hat ($25 value). A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Bohn Family Memorial. Amanda Bohn, mother of Paige and Devon, will honor their lives with a ceremonial first pitch prior to that night's game.

The Rafters hope everyone can partake in this evening in showing your love and support. The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
