Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – For the final time during the 2016 season, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will wear alternate jerseys for their game on Saturday, August 6th against the Kenosha Kingfish. Christmas in August will be the theme for the night and the jerseys will resemble elf jackets. Fans can submit an online bid (starting at $55) for as many jerseys as they’d like. Bidding will continue through the game on August 6th during which fans will have the chance to match and continue to bid in-person. The auction will end with the last out in the bottom of the 6th inning during game. Winners do not need not to be in attendance, but it is recommended. ($5 will be added for shipped orders). Proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Wisconsin Rapids.

Bids of $100 will automatically win the jersey, provided it is the highest bid at the time it is placed.

** Upon completion of the game, each player will sign his jersey if desired and a member of the Rafters staff will bring those items to the Rafthouse Team Shop. At that time, payment will be needed to obtain said item. Patience is requested as over 30 transactions will need to be run immediately following the game. For faster processing, cash or check is the preferred method of payment.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 23rd season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
