Mid-State Technical College Free Tuition Tuesdays Highlights 2017 Weekly Promotions

New opportunity for Tuesday home games provides chance to win free tuition valued at $15,000

 

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.-The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will feature a different weekly promotion every night of the week during the 2017 season.

 

Sunday games will feature the McCain Foods Family Pack. For only $42, a family will receive four reserved bleacher tickets, four hot dogs, four fountain sodas and two baskets of McCain Brew City French fries. This ticket package is available for purchase in advance of game day.

 

Start the work week off right on Bang for your Buck Mondays. Every Monday fans can enjoy Cher-Make hot dogs, 16 oz. fountain sodas, and popcorn for just $1 each.

 

The Rafters have partnered with Mid-State Technical College for a one-of-a kind promotion: Free Tuition Tuesdays. All future, current, and previous students of Mid-State Technical College will be eligible to register via the Rafters official team website during the promotional period beginning on Monday, May 8th. The online registration form will be located under the “More” tab on raftersbaseball.com, under the drop down subtab “Free Tuition Tuesdays”.  For every Tuesday regular season home game, one randomly selected contestant will be chosen from all of the eligible entries to be the “Mid-State Free Tuition Tuesdays” guest at one of the six Tuesday home games this summer. The contestant will receive four complimentary Solarus Founders club all-inclusive tickets to gain entrance to one designated game and be eligible for the Free Tuition Tuesday’s grand prize that evening. The contestant will also receive four Rafters goodie bags and photo with Rafters mascot, Rosco, commemorating the event.

 

If during the third inning of their designated home game, the Rafters pitcher strikes out the first three consecutive batters of the opposing team without any of the batters reaching base, the pre-selected contestant will win free tuition to Mid-State Technical College courtesy of Mid-State’s Foundation, valued up to $15,000! Every Wednesday will again be Point Brewery Double Your Fun Wednesdays. Fans that purchase two 16 oz. cans of Point Special from one of the Rafters vendors in the grandstand will receive two FREE bags of peanuts, courtesy of Stevens Point Brewery.

 

The ever-popular Budweiser Thirsty Thursday will be back in 2017. Every Thursday will feature two for one domestic taps from the time the gates open until the end of the 5th inning. The 2017 season will feature four Thursday night games. 

 

Gates will open a half hour early prior to the two Friday home games this summer. Point Brewery Anniversary Happy Hour will take place from 5:30-6:30 where fans will be able to enjoy 12 oz. Point 160th Anniversary Brew for only $2 during the hour.

 

Bring your kids to the ballpark on Saturday home games and have them ready to run before the post-game fireworks shows take place! Kids will have the opportunity to run the bases post game every Saturday evening, all made possible by Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics. 

 

The Rafters host their season opener on Tuesday, May 30th at 7:05 pm when they take on the Kenosha Kingfish.  Rafters single game tickets are on sale now.  Tickets can be purchased by visiting Raftersbaseball.com, calling the Rafters ticket office at 715-424-5400, or stopping by the Front Office at Witter Field. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9-5.
