Wisconsin Rapids plays their final home game of the season tonight hosting Green Bay

 

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will play its last game at Witter Field of the 2018 season tonight against the Green Bay Bullfrogs. This will also be the final time that the Green Bay Bullfrogs will ever play at Witter Field. The Green Bay Bullfrogs are currently 16-18 on the second half of the season and 28-42 overall. The Rafters sit at .500 with a 17-17 record in the second half and 32-37 overall.

 

On the mound for his final appearance at Witter Field is Chandler Greenfield of Dixie State. The righty sports a 3-1 record with a 3.17 ERA. In 45.1 innings pitched Greenfield has struck out 40 batters and allowed 19 walks and 47 hits. This will be Greenfield’s seventh start and 15th appearance.

 

Pitching for the Bullfrogs is Ryan Gowens of Arizona. This season, Gowens sports a 1-3 record with a 6.81 ERA. In his 34.1 innings pitched he has allowed 29 walks and 34 hits while striking out 43. This will be his ninth start for the Frogs.

 

The Rafters will play their final game of the 2018 season tomorrow at Joannes Stadium at 3:05 p.m.
