Wisconsin Rapids looks to extend win streak against Dock Spiders

With first place in the division on the line, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (4-2) travel to take on the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (4-2) and close a five-game road trip Tuesday.

Wisconsin Rapids is coming off a two-game sweep of the Kokomo Jackrabbits. The Rafters won game two by a final of 7-3. Matt Oldham went 2-for-4 with two RBIs as the catcher for Rapids.

Gareth Stroh is projected to start for Wisconsin Rapids tonight. The lefty from Nebraska has a perfect 4-0 record and a 1.86 ERA in five starts. Aaron Ball Jr., who is 1-2 with a 3.19 ERA, is expected to get the start for Fond du Lac.

The team returns home Wednesday to close the two-game series with the Dock Spiders at Historic Witter Field for Quality Feed and Seed Bark in the Park Night. The team then has a pair of games against the Rockford Rivets to finish out the homestand.
