Wisconsin Rapids, WI – The Rafters and ND Paper partnered up during the 2019 season to plant trees in Wisconsin Rapids. For every strikeout by a Rafters starting pitcher at home, a tree would be planted. The Rafters had one of the most dominating pitching staffs in the Northwoods League throughout the 2019 season. In total, they accumulated 187 strikeouts.

Unfortunately, due to the storm that came through in July 2019 and COVID-19 the Rafters and ND Paper have had to push back planting trees. Through this partnership, 187 trees will be planted in the community of Wisconsin Rapids in 2021.
