Nine inning competition will feature the top home-run hitters, including three Rafters

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Northwoods League has announced the participants for the 2017 All-Star Game Home-Run Derby which will take place before the Northwoods League All-Star Game in Wausau, Wisconsin on Tuesday, July 18 at 5:00 p.m. (CST). The Rafters have franchise-record three players selected to participate in the derby.

He trails only Zach Zubia of Rochester (14) for the most homers in the league this year. Jones has five home-runs that have tied or given the Rafters a lead in a game this season.

A pair of All-Star outfielders for the Rafters are set to participate as well, as Dustin Woodcock (six) and Jake Guenther (5) join Jones at the derby. In a recent game against Kenosha on July 9th, Guenther blasted two homers, including a grand slam to help solidify his spot in the festivities.
