Wisconsin Rapids will resume their game suspended from last night and complete the two-game series

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (22-29, 7-9 2nd half) had their game with the Battle Creek Bombers (24-26, 8-7 2nd half) suspended due to rain. The Bombers and Rafters were tied at one apiece in the fifth when the rain came in. After a lengthy delay, the game was suspended. The Bombers opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first and the Rafters loaded the bases and scored in the fifth. The cranberry and gold’s run came home due to a bases loaded walk.

The game will resume tomorrow morning at C.O. Brown Stadium with Mitch Mallek (St. Cloud State) at the plate, bases loaded and one out in the top of the fifth. The suspended game will be resumed at 11:05 AM ET/10:05 AM CT. A seven-inning game will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
