Adams Travis 13 P R/R 6-2 195 Sacramento State University Sophomore Desert Hot Springs CA Through two seasons, Adams has pitched to a 3.14 ERA for Sacramento State. In his freshman campaign, Adams split time between the bullpen and the rotation for the 2019 WAC Champions. A control specialist, Adams walked only seven batters over his 2019 season. Adams excelled in four starts in 2020, pitching to a 1.57 ERA and striking out 19 batters, while walking only two. In high school, Adams threw a no-hitter versus rival Palm Springs High School.

Black Billy 11 P R/R 6-3 205 Columbia University Redshirt Sophomore Wilton CT Wilton, Connecticut native Billy Black is a junior right-hander for the Columbia Bears of the Ivy League. In 2020, Black was a starter for the first time in his college career, throwing 10.2 innings over two starts. Previously as a member of the Bears bullpen, Black appeared in 18 games in 2018 and 2019 for Columbia, striking out 19 opponents in 24.1 innings.
Bonner Brayden 32 P R/R 6-4 210 Dixie State University Senior Murray UT A returning senior, Bonner was the best reliever for the Rafters in 2019. As closer, Bonner was fourth in the Northwoods League with 11 saves and a minuscule 1.48 ERA. Bonner also struck out over a batter per inning, while walking only eight batters all season. These impressive stats earned Bonner a spot on the Northwoods League Major League Dreams squad. For Dixie State, Bonner pitched in 18 games for the Trailblazers in 2019 with a strong 39:8 strikeout to walk ratio over 45 innings.
Borzone Jimmy 8 P S/R 6-4 210 Dixie State University Junior Vancouver WA Borzone is a returner from the 2019 roster. In 2019, Borzone was one of the best relief pitchers in the Northwoods League, pitching to a tiny 1.46 ERA over 20 appearances. Borzone also finished the season second on the Rafters in saves and games finished. In his junior season at Dixie State, Borzone struck out 18 batters in 23 innings of work. In high school, Borzone was honored with all-league and all-state selections after recording a 1.72 ERA at Union High School in Vancouver, WA.

D'Acunto Angelo 55 C R/R 6-1 200 College of the Holy Cross Sophomore Staten Island NY D’Acunto is a 6’1” sophomore from Staten Island, New York. D’Acunto is a two-year member of the Holy Cross baseball team in Worchester, Massachusetts. In 2019, D’Acunto appeared in 16 collegiate games, hitting .278.

Garriola Andy 48 OF R/R 6-4 225 Old Dominion University Redshirt Sophomore Sierra Madre CA Brother of former Rafter Frankie Garriola, Andy is sure to keep up the good family name in Wisconsin Rapids. Garriola's .328 batting average and 10 home runs earned the Sierra Madre, CA native Freshman All-American honors in 2019. Garriola took a redshirt season in 2020.
Gonzales Jack 30 P L/L 6-3 215 Dixie State University Junior Oceanside CA Gonzales is a lefty in the Dixie State bullpen. Last season, Gonzales racked up 14 strikeouts and a 3.52 ERA in 15 innings pitched for the Trailblazers. In Summer 2019, Jack Gonzales brought stability to the Yakima Valley Pippins bullpen and rotation. In 17 games and five starts, Gonzales finished the West Coast League season with a 3.43 ERA. At El Camino High School, Gonzales had a 2.52 ERA in his senior season, and struck out 91 over his junior and senior seasons.
Hemmerling Nathan 27 P R/R 6-2 205 Lakeland University Sophomore Riverside CA Nathan Hemmerling returns to the Rafters roster in pursuit of a Northwoods League ERA title. In 2019, Hemmerling was 7-2, with a 2.28 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 59.1 innings pitched. Last season, Hemmerling earned NACC First-Team honors with a 2.50 ERA and 76 strikeouts for the Lakeland Muskies, both top-ten in school history. Accolades for Hemmerling include D3baseball.com All-Midwest Region team and Midwest Region’s Rookie of the Year.
Hinderleider Jacob 7 IF R/R 6-2 200 Davidson College Freshman Kaneohe HI Hinderleider is a freshman from Kaneohe, Hawaii. The 6’2 shortstop was rated as the 3rd best infielder in the state of Hawaii by Perfect Game and the 5th overall prospect out of ‘Ionali School in Honolulu. He appeared in 16 games for the Davidson Wildcats in 2020 and hit .149.
Kryszczuk Austin 12 IF R/L 5-10 195 University of Nevada, Las Vegas Freshman Las Vegas NV Kryszczuk is a freshman infielder and corner outfielder from Las Vegas, where he starred from a young age. In 2014, Kryszczuk played for his father, Bob, on the Mountain Ridge Little League team that reached the U.S. Championship of the Little League World Series. This year, Kryszczuk has kicked off his college baseball career on the right foot. Kryszczuk started 11 games for the Rebels, batted .341 and hit two home runs.
Levy Gabe 22 P L/R 6-0 190 Davidson College Sophomore Seattle WA Seattle, Washington native Gabe Levy was a mainstay in the rotation for the 13-3 Wildcats in 2020. The Saturday starter made four starts on the year, allowing only three earned runs in 29.2 innings. Levy’s 0.91 ERA was 45th best in the country at the early conclusion of the year. Last season, Levy was the go-to bullpen option for Davidson, Levy was second in the Atlantic 10 in saves with 11, earning A-10 All-Rookie team honors.

McElvain Chris 26 P R/R 6-1 205 Vanderbilt University Freshman Thompson Station TN The second Vanderbilt player on the 2020 Rafters roster, McElvain is a six-foot-one pitcher from Thompson Station, Tennessee. Similarly to 2020 Rafter Sam Hliboki, McElvain excelled at Vanderbilt in his freshman year. In six appearances for the Commodores, McElvain threw 9.1 innings, striking out seven en route to a respectable 4.82 ERA. At Summit High School in Thompson Station, McElvain carried a 0.73 ERA throughout his prep career.
Nolan Parker 31 OF R/R 6-4 195 Davidson College Sophomore Wilmington NC Nolan is a sophomore outfielder from Wilmington, North Carolina. During his first season at Davidson, Nolan appeared in 10 games and impressed, hitting a single in his first career plate appearance against Towson. Later in the season, Nolan went back-to-back with teammate Greg Lowe for his first career home run versus Toledo. In 2020, Nolan hit .222 with four home runs and 14 RBIs in the shortened season.

Salazar Alex 9 P R/R 5-11 185 Campbellsville University Junior Kobe, Japan Born to a Mexican father and Japanese mother, Alex Salazar was born and raised in Japan before heading across the Pacific to play baseball in the U.S. At Campbellsville University in Kentucky, Salazar carved up opponents, finishing with a 2.05 ERA while striking out 50 batters in 30.2 innings.
Schiekofer Richie 28 OF L/R 6-0 190 Rutgers University Redshirt Sophomore Millburn NJ Schiekofer has been an electric presence at the top of the order where ever he plays. For the Rafters, Schiekofer was an all-star selection, leading the Rafters in stolen bases and walks. Schiekofer finished the year with a .325 average and .440 OBP, both top five on the team. In the abbreviated 2020 season, Schiekofer was best, among Rutgers starters, in batting average, OBP and RBIs.

Smart Gage 4 P L/L 6-3 195 Campbellsville University Senior Indianola IA A D-III Second Team All-American honoree, Smart pitched extremely well for Buena Vista in 2019. Smart went 5-1 with a 1.14 ERA over 51.1 innings on the mound. Smart will attend Campbellsville University in the fall.
Teel Kyle 2 C L/R 6-0 185 University of Virginia High School Senior Mahwah NJ Kyle Teel is a premiere high school player from Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. Teel is currently committed to play for the University of Virginia. The accolades for Teel are innumerous. The Mahwah High School player has played in the Area Code games, East Coast Pro Showcase, and in the PDP League, a league at IMG Academy in Florida exclusively for the top eighty high school players in the country.
Trujillo Roman 20 IF R/R 5-11 175 Davenport University Redshirt Junior Las Cruces NM Trujillo saw the most games for the Rafters last season, playing in 69 of 74. Trujillo dominated defensively while locking in offensively towards the end of the season, ending with a .267 batting average and 51 hits. He also stole 14 bags in the regular season. In 2020, Trujillo was excelling for the Davenport Panthers before the premature end of the season, batting .345 with 16 RBIs and five stolen bases. The Las Cruces, New Mexico native played for New Mexico State from 2016-2017.
Waldis Hunter 25 P R/R 6-3 205 Seton Hall University Junior Far Hills NJ Far Hills, New Jersey native Hunter Waldis is returning to the Rafters after taking the summer off in 2019. At Seton Hall, Waldis has been a reliable bullpen arm for the past two seasons. As a sophomore in 2019, Waldis finished with a 3-1 record out of the bullpen and a 4.55 ERA, striking out 40 batters in 26 appearances. Before the suspension of the 2020 college baseball season, Waldis allowed one run over three appearances.
Walstad Ryan 5 IF L/R 5-11 190 Sacramento State University Senior West Sacramento CA Walstad is a 5’11” senior from West Sacramento, California. At Sacramento State University, just a ten-minute drive from West Sacramento, Walstad has been a valuable infielder for the Hornets. Since joining the team from Ohlone College in Fremont, Walstad has played in 71 games, batting a competitive .266 with four home runs and nine doubles. Walstad is a very skilled fielder, committing only six errors in his Sacramento State career, and none in the 2020 season.
