
Sweeps were the story of the day across the league, with Green Bay, Lakeshore, Royal Oak, Thunder Bay, St. Cloud, Richmond, and Waterloo all completing series sweeps. Richmond’s 4–1 win over Kenosha was particularly notable, marking the first series sweep in the Flying Mummies franchise history.
Green Bay 11, Madison 1
The Rockers completed the series sweep dominantly, defeating the Mallards 11–1. Green Bay built an early 4–1 lead through two innings before erupting for seven runs in the eighth, finishing with 11 hits to cap off the sweep. Eli Selga (Golden West CC) led the offensive charge, going 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and four RBIs. Parker Martin (University of Southern Indiana) finished 2-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs, while Eric Fernandez (University of Louisiana-Lafayette) went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Aidan Kuni (University of New Mexico) added a 2-for-4 performance that included a double and two RBIs. On the mound, Will Harrigan (Columbia University) earned the win after tossing five innings, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out six and not surrendering an earned run. Holden Harris (University of Texas San Antonio) closed out the victory with two scoreless and hitless innings, striking out one and allowing just one walk.
Lakeshore 5, Fond du Lac 1
The Chinooks completed the series sweep with a 5–1 victory over the Dock Spiders. Lakeshore struck first with two runs in the opening inning and never looked back. Aukai Kea (Vanderbilt University) went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, finishing with two RBIs and one run scored. Cade Sears (Vanderbilt University) went 1-for-2, scored three times, and created havoc on the basepaths with four stolen bases. For Fond du Lac, Brady Blake (Kirkwood CC) paced the offense, going 3-for-4 with a stolen base. On the mound, Max Mousser (Salt Lake CC) set the tone with a strong start, tossing five innings while allowing one run on five hits and two walks, striking out six. Talan Kelly (Utah Tech University) earned the win with four scoreless innings of relief, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out five.
Wisconsin Rapids 8, Wausau 2
The Rafters snapped the Woodchucks’ momentum with an 8–2 victory, scoring three runs in both the fifth and seventh innings before adding two more in the ninth. Dylan Frank (Scottsdale CC) had a huge day at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, driving in four RBIs, and scoring once. Erick Soto-Zelaya (Pensacola State CC) finished 2-for-3 with two doubles and scored three times. For Wausau, Dylan LaPointe (Mercer University) went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, while Jake Berkland (Minnesota State University) finished 2-for-4 with one run scored and two stolen bases. On the mound, Sam Neal (Young Harris College) earned the win after tossing seven strong innings, allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out six.
Duluth 6, La Crosse 4
The Huskies built a five-run lead through six innings and held off a late Loggers rally to secure a 6–4 victory. Bjorn Lind (Augustana University (MN)) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in two runs and scoring once. Reagan Reeder (University of Evansville) finished 1-for-3 with a double, one RBI, one run scored, and two stolen bases, while Anthony Cepeda (Wichita State University) went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI, one run scored, and a stolen base. Benji Kautto (University of Evansville) added one hit, scored twice, and stole two bases. For La Crosse, Gunnar Penzkover (Grand Canyon) provided the offense, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run, three RBIs, and one run scored. On the mound, Nick Terhaar (University of Iowa) earned the win after tossing five innings, allowing one run on two hits while striking out four. Royal Oak 8, Traverse City 2
The Leprechauns completed the series sweep with an 8–2 victory over the Pit Spitters. Royal Oak broke a 1–1 tie with four runs across the fourth and fifth innings and never looked back, backing a seven-hit offensive effort with strong pitching. Lucas Mead (Saginaw Valley State University) had a huge day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in three runs, and swiping three bases. Luke Kosko (University of Cincinnati) went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, finishing with two RBIs, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Mateo Noto (Indiana University) added a 2-for-3 performance with a double, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. For Traverse City, Aaron Grant (University of Arkansas Pine Bluff) provided the lone big offensive highlight, going 1-for-4 with a solo home run. On the mound, Drew Tolfree (Ohio Northern University) earned the win after tossing 5.2 innings, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out seven and not surrendering an earned run. Andrew Everson (Michigan State University) picked up the save with three scoreless and hitless innings, striking out two while allowing just one walk.
Thunder Bay 7, Eau Claire 2
The Border Cats completed the series sweep with a 7–2 victory over the Express. Thunder Bay built a 4–0 lead through five innings and pulled away with three more runs in the eighth, collecting 10 hits in the win. Dante Smith (North Dakota State University) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, driving in two runs, scoring once, and stealing a base. Jorge Valdes (Xavier University (OH)) finished 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored, while Jesus Vasquez (University of Hawaii) went 1-for-2 with a triple, scored twice, and swiped a bag. On the mound, Carson Small (University of New Orleans) earned the win after firing five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out eight. Lucas Mercado (Ouachita Baptist University (OK)) picked up the save with three strong innings, striking out five while allowing four hits and one run.
St. Cloud 9, Bismarck 5
The Rox completed the series sweep with a 9–5 victory over the Larks. St. Cloud broke the game open with a four-run fifth inning and added four more in the sixth, collecting 10 hits while overcoming an early deficit to finish off the sweep. Tanner Recchio (University of St. Thomas (MN)) led the charge, going 3-for-5 with a triple, two RBIs, three runs scored, and a stolen base. Cal Schmelzle (Augustana University) went 1-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs, while Carter Heinsch (Augustana University) finished 2-for-4 with a double and one run scored. For Bismarck, Connor Guy (Virginia Tech) went 1-for-3, scored twice, and swiped two bases. On the mound, Eli Lamb (University of West Florida) earned the win with four scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and three walks while striking out four.
Kalamazoo 9, Battle Creek 3
The Growlers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, rolling past the Battle Jacks 9–3. Kalamazoo scored in six of the first seven innings and made the most of just four hits, capitalizing on four Battle Creek errors to secure the series finale. The Growlers also wreaked havoc on the basepaths, swiping an impressive 13 stolen bases in the win. Alex Adams (Air Force) led the charge, going 2-for-5 with a triple, one RBI, two runs scored, and a whopping three stolen bases. Mitchell Morton (Xavier University) went 1-for-2 with one RBI, one run scored, and two stolen bases, while Joshua Algarin (Walsh University) finished 1-for-3 with one RBI, one run scored, and two stolen bases. Nicholas Frontino (Mississippi State University) and Hutson Chance (University of Tennessee), each stole two bases, while Nate Webb (Belmont University) and Landon Stewart (Air Force) added one stolen base. Richmond 4, Kenosha 1
The Flying Mummies completed the sweep with a 4–1 victory over the Kingfish, marking the first series sweep in franchise history. Richmond broke through with three runs in the seventh inning and added an insurance run in the eighth, while the pitching staff held Kenosha to just three hits to cap off the historic accomplishment. Braeden Becker (Glen Oaks CC) delivered the big hit, going 1-for-3 and driving in three runs. Prince Deboskie (University of Akron) finished 1-for-2 with a run scored and two stolen bases, while Jase Horton (Milwaukee School of Engineering) went 1-for-3, scored once, and stole a base. On the mound, Danny Harris (Mesa CC) earned the win with five scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out five. Beau Pasteur (Northeast (NE) CC) closed out the historic victory with a scoreless and hitless ninth inning, striking out two to earn the save.
Minot 6, Rochester 2
The Hot Tots scored six unanswered runs and cruised past the Honkers 6–2. Chris Daniels (New Mexico State University) went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, one run scored, and a stolen base. Drew Reaves (Georgia SW State University) went 3-for-5, scoring three times and stealing a base, while Nick Kaelin (Lincoln Memorial University) went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jaden Davis (New Mexico State University) earned the win with five scoreless innings, striking out seven while allowing just one hit and two walks.
Waterloo 8, Rockford 4
The Bucks completed the sweep with an 8–4 victory over the Rivets, using a five-run third inning to take control of the game. Josh Kaplan (Skyline (CA) CC) went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a stolen base. Caleb Seibers (Eastern Illinois University) went 1-for-4, scoring twice while recording two RBIs and two stolen bases. MJ Sweeney (Wichita State University) went 3-for-4 with one RBI, one run scored, and a stolen base, while Chase Porter (University of Louisville) went 2-for-5 with one run scored and a stolen base. For Rockford, Davis Collie (John A. Logan CC) went 1-for-4 with one run scored and two RBIs, while Coby Nevile (Paradise Valley CC) drove in two runs. Nate Berzonski (Mount St. Mary’s University (MD)) earned the win, throwing 2.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts while allowing two hits.
Willmar 4, Mankato 3
The Stingers scored two runs in the eighth inning to break a tie and edge the MoonDogs 4–3. Brooks Wright (Southeastern Louisiana University) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and scored twice, while Jayton Greer (University of San Diego) went 2-for-4. For Mankato, Anthony Avalos (Houston Christian University) went 2-for-4, including a double, driving in two runs, scoring once, and stealing a base.
