Kalamazoo 6, Wisconsin Rapids 3
The Growlers broke open a tight game with a four-run sixth inning and added an insurance run in the eighth to defeat the Rafters 6–3. Alex Adams (Air Force) went 2-for-3, driving in three runs, scoring once, and stealing one base. Nicholas Frontino (Mississippi State University) went 1-for-2, scoring twice and stealing three bases. Hutson Chance (University of Tennessee) went 1-for-3 with a double, scoring twice and stealing three bases. For Wisconsin Rapids, Carter Bennett (Claremont-Mudd-Scripps) went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and one stolen base. Kyle O’Hearn (Grand Rapids CC) earned the win, throwing six innings with six strikeouts while allowing five hits, two walks, and one earned run. Peyton Williams (Kent State University) recorded the save, throwing one perfect inning and striking out two of the three batters he faced.
Minnesota 11, Thunder Bay 0 (Sweep)
The Mud Puppies completed the series sweep in dominant fashion, rolling to an 11–0 victory over the Border Cats behind a 14-hit offensive attack and a shutout performance on the mound. Landon Jasper (Kirkwood CC) went 2-for-3, including a three-run home run, recording four RBIs and two runs scored. Owen Bond (University of St. Thomas (MN)) went 2-for-4, including a solo home run, scoring four times and stealing one base. Beau Thoma (Bemidji State Unviersity) went 2-for-5, including a double, recording one RBI and two runs scored. Christian Guzman (Sauk Valley CC) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 and scoring once. Alex Menth (SE Missouri State University) set the tone with a dominant start, throwing three scoreless, hitless innings with five strikeouts while allowing one walk. Caleb Tays (Augsburg University) added a scoreless, hitless inning of relief with one strikeout and two walks.
Richmond 5, Kenosha 2 (Sweep)
The Flying Mummies completed the series sweep with a 5–2 victory over the Kingfish, using a three-run fifth inning to take control and secure the win. Trenton Lombardo (University of Evansville) went 3-for-4, including a double, and scored once. Eli Bennett (Indiana University) went 1-for-4, driving in two runs. Braeden Becker (Glen Oaks CC) went 2-for-4, scoring once and driving in one run. For Kenosha, Hunter Snyder (Columbia University) went 1-for-3, scoring once and driving in one run. Kai Keamo (Bushnell University) earned the win, throwing five innings with nine strikeouts while allowing four walks, three hits, and one run.
Wausau 10, Lakeshore 2 (Sweep)
The Woodchucks completed the series sweep in convincing fashion, racing out to an eight-run lead through the first two innings and cruising to a 10–2 victory over the Chinooks. Joey McLaughlin (Arkansas State University) went 3-for-5, recording one RBI, one run scored, and four stolen bases. Jace Souza (Texas Tech University) went 1-for-3 with a triple, driving in two runs, scoring once, and stealing one base. Chris Patterson (University of Missouri) went 1-for-3, scoring once, driving in two runs, and stealing one base. For Lakeshore, Jake Altman (Northern Kentucky University) went 1-for-2 with two RBIs. L.J. Drummond (University of Miami (FL)) earned the win, throwing six scoreless, hitless innings with four strikeouts while allowing three walks.
Traverse City 14, Battle Creek 4
The Pit Spitters erupted for eight runs in the sixth inning to break the game open and avoid the series sweep, rolling past the Battle Jacks 14–4. Zach Carlson (Northwestern University) was perfect at the plate, going 1-for-1, driving in two runs, scoring three times, and stealing one base. Jack Laffitte (University of Michigan) went 2-for-4, including a double, recording three RBIs and scoring twice. Josh Stonehouse (Xavier University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, scoring four runs and stealing one base. For Battle Creek, Brendan Thompson (Cal State Bakersfield) went 2-for-3, scoring twice and stealing one base. Gabe Helder (Davenport University) earned the win, throwing one inning with one strikeout while allowing two hits, two runs, and one walk. Miles Williams (Dallas Baptis University) closed out the game in dominant fashion, throwing one scoreless inning and striking out three of four batters faced while allowing one hit.
La Crosse 5, Waterloo 2
The Loggers rallied late with a three-run stretch from the fifth through the seventh innings to overcome an early deficit and defeat the Bucks 5–2. Jake Redding (University of Hawaii) went 1-for-4 with a double, driving in two runs. Eli Small (Florida Atlantic University) went 2-for-4 with a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. For Waterloo, Jake Miller (Southeastern (IA) CC) went 2-for-3, scoring once and stealing two bases. Peyton Olds (Sacramento City CC) earned the win, throwing four scoreless innings with six strikeouts while allowing two hits. The Leprechauns exploded for 21 runs on 19 hits in a dominant offensive performance, rolling past the Rivets 21–10. Luke Kosko (University of Cincinnati) had a monster day at the plate, going 4-for-6 with a pair of home runs and doubles, recording five RBIs and scoring four runs. Andrew DiLodovico (Bowling Green State University) went 2-for-4, scoring three times and driving in four runs. Oliver Service (Marshall University) went 3-for-6 with a solo home run, an RBI triple, and a double, finishing with two RBIs and five runs scored. Lucas Mead (Saginaw Valley State University) went 3-for-7, including a double, driving in three runs and scoring twice. The Rockers broke the game open with a three-run sixth and four-run seventh inning to pull away for a 13–2 victory over the Dock Spiders. RJ Furcal Jr. (Sam Houston State University) was an RBI machine, going 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs, driving in five runs and scoring twice. Aidan Kuni (University of New Mexico) went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double, finishing with two RBIs and two runs scored. Seungmin Shin (New Mexico Military CC) went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, driving in two runs and scoring once. The Mallards erupted for 13 runs on 13 hits, jumping out early and never looking back in a dominant 13–1 win over the Express. Preston Yaucher (Penn State University) went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, recording one RBI and two runs scored. The MoonDogs used steady offensive production throughout to defeat the Big Sticks 7–2, building an early lead and never letting up behind an 11-hit performance.
