The Border Cats completed the series sweep in dramatic fashion, rallying late and scoring the winning run in the ninth inning to walk off the Loggers 3–2. Lincoln Pack (Pensacola State CC (FL)) delivered the game-winning hit after being inserted into the lineup, going 1-for-1 with an RBI double. Alex Kean (Morehead State University (KY)) went 2-for-4 with a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. For La Crosse, Joey Senstock (University of Nebraska) went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Anthony Unga (Creighton University (NE)) had a notable outing for Thunder Bay, throwing four scoreless innings with seven strikeouts while allowing just two hits.
