Dickinson, ND- The Big Sticks are now two games below .500 after losing tonight’s game to the St. Cloud Rox 10-7.

The Rox would start off hot in the first with a Carter Hanson RBI single that was followed up by two unearned runs off of an error on Tyler Tobey. The Sticks would be able to score one in the bottom of the first on a RBI single from Evan Appelwick. However, Sawyer Smith would match that with an RBI single and give the Rox a three run lead. Neither team would score again till the 7th inning when catcher Andrew Savage hit a 2-run double into center field. The Sticks would score two in the bottom of the 7th on a Kaden Carpenter 2 RBI single.

In the top of the 8th, the Rox would heat up with a three run inning. Jackson Hauge would slap a solo homer into center field to start it off. Ben Higden would follow up with a sac fly and Hanson would cap the inning off with a RBI single into right. The Sticks would match the Rox in the bottom half of the inning. Marcus Romero would slam a two-run double to the fence and Brant Kragel would score as well. In the top of the 9th, Hauge would have his second solo homer of the day. The Sticks would try to start a rally would Kragel RBI single but come up short.

The Sticks have a final home game against the St Cloud Rox tomorrow at 6:35. After, they will be on the road for four straight games.
