GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay is proud to announce that it will honor the 100,000th fan who attends a Bullfrogs’ game during this week’s four-game home stand, which starts on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.

The 100,000th fan will receive two reserved season tickets to the 2010 season, a free 100,000th fan t-shirt, a commemorative plaque, gift certificates from local sponsors, and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch.

“Reaching this milestone so quickly is very gratifying,” Owner and President Jeff Royle said. “Our entire community should share in this accomplishment.”

Green Bay increased its attendance over 16 percent from its 2007 inaugural season to the 2008 season in the 14-team Northwoods League. It is on pace to set a new season attendance record before seasons end.

Green Bay fired out of the gates during its inaugural season to the tune of a 23-10 record, becoming the first ever expansion franchise to make the playoffs. The Bullfrogs finished the season with a league-best 43-25 record.

During the 2007 season, Daniel Robertson stole a league record 45 bases as he was named Co-MVP, while field manager Elliot Strankman was awarded Manager of the Year.

In the 2008 season the Bullfrogs lead the NWL in batting average, while Josh Prince hit a league-best seven triples. Prince was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers this year in the third round of the first-year player draft.
