The Willmar Stingers will be opening the ‘Home Run Hive’, a souvenir gift shop, Wednesday, November 3rd. The Home Run Hive Gift Shop will be located inside Hansen Advertising at 1030 North Business HWY 71 across from the Flags of Honor Memorial and inside the log cabin building.

The shop, named by Rachel Eichhorst of Willmar, will feature Stingers jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and gift cards. Eichhorst won the naming contest with her ‘Home Run Hive’ suggestion by obtaining the most votes on the Stingers Facebook page.

The Stingers completed a successful inaugural season with a 39-31 record in the Northwoods League North Division.
