Bruce Thompson will be joining the St. Cloud River Bats for the 2011 season as the Director of Sales. The former St. Cloud State alum has various experiences in athletics.

Thompson has found himself both playing and working in athletics and will be a great asset to the River Bats. Thompson played baseball at St. Cloud State and graduated in 2009. He had been serving as the Senior Account Executive of the Minnesota Swarm of the National La Crosse League since July and coached both baseball and hockey in St. Cloud while a student.

“I am so excited to get back to St. Cloud and be part of the River Bats organization,” Thompson said. “I was able to enjoy Bats games as a fan and now to take what I’ve learned selling Professional La Crosse to help promote a game I love is really exciting. I love baseball and I love the St. Cloud area. I can’t wait to get started.”
