WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks are excited to announce the hiring of Bryan Bastar as the team’s new Vice President. Bastar started with the organization a short time ago and is already leading the team in its planning of the 2019 season. Bryan will oversee all aspects of the day to day operation including all sales departments.

Bastar joins the Chinooks after twenty years in sales and ten years in the food industry. A sports fanatic, he still tries to find time to actively play multiple sports such as baseball and basketball when time allows. He played twenty years in the Land O’ Lakes League for the Cedarburg Mercs and was recently inducted into the league’s Hall of Fame.

Bastar had the following to say about joining the Chinooks organization: “Joining the Chinooks gives me an opportunity to marry a career with a lifelong passion for baseball.  I have been in sales most of my adult life but, of course, always wanted to play professional baseball.  I didn’t quite make that dream come true but this certainly gets me in the ballpark, pun intended.  I knew there was a great front office team in place and wanted to be a part of that.  I couldn’t be more excited than to include baseball in my livelihood.”

Bryan attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Concordia University Wisconsin. He currently resides in Cedarburg with his wife Amy and their son Garrett.
