The Express delivered the night’s most dramatic finish, scoring six runs in the ninth inning to erase a three-run deficit and walk off the Border Cats, while the Larks secured a 10-inning walk-off victory over the Honkers. Offense was on display throughout the league, highlighted by 16-run performances from both the Growlers and Loggers, as well as a 14-run outburst by the Battle Jacks.
Kenosha 12, Waterloo 11
The Kingfish outslugged the Bucks 12–11 in a back-and-forth offensive battle, overcoming an early eight-run deficit to complete a dramatic comeback victory. Kenosha collected 14 hits and scored three runs in the eighth inning to take the lead for good. J.R. Nelson (University of Illinois) went 3-for-4, including a double, driving in three runs, scoring twice, and stealing three bases. Brian Gould (Creighton University) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, recording three RBIs and two runs scored. Noah Brandt (Grand Valley State University) went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two stolen bases, while Ethan Sanchez (University of Northern Colorado) went 2-for-3, including a double, tallying two RBIs, two runs scored, and a stolen base. For Waterloo, Jake Miller (Southeastern (IA) CC) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Bubby Dosztan-Campbell (Santa Barbara City CC) went 1-for-4 with two RBIs, one run scored, and two stolen bases. Kendric Sorgius (Ball State University) drove in two runs, scored once, and stole two bases, while Zach Davis (University of Louisville) went 2-for-6 with one run scored and two RBIs. Trent Kulig (John A. Logan CC) earned the win with 2.2 scoreless and hitless innings, allowing three walks. Nick Heitman (University of Iowa) picked up the save with a scoreless and hitless inning while allowing one walk.
Lakeshore 3, Fond du Lac 1
The Chinooks scored in each of the first three innings and rode a strong pitching performance to a 3–1 victory over the Dock Spiders. Nathan Hanel (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 3-for-4, including a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. Jake Altman (Northern Kentucky University) went 1-for-3 and stole two bases, while Wyatt Gatlin (Georgia Highlands CC) went 1-for-4 with a double and scored once. Kyle Manship (Illinois State University) had a solid outing for the Dock Spiders, throwing three scoreless and hitless innings, collecting five strikeouts, and giving up just one walk. Nick Heisl (Bryant and Stratton (WI) CC) earned the win, throwing 2.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts while allowing one hit and one walk. Zander Bretza (Ball State University) picked up the save with a perfect inning, striking out one batter.
Kalamazoo 16, Richmond 4
The Growlers completed the sweep in emphatic fashion, routing the Flying Mummies 16–4 behind a 10-hit offensive outburst. Josh Campbell (University of Michigan) was perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs, two runs scored, and three stolen bases. Phillip Thigpen (Eastern Michigan University) went 1-for-3 with a double, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Hutson Chance (University of Tennessee) went 1-for-4 with three RBIs, one run scored, and a stolen base. The Mallards completed the sweep with a 6–4 victory over the Rafters, overcoming an early deficit with four runs over the final three innings. Royal Oak 4, Traverse City 2
The Leprechauns scored three runs in the fourth inning and made them stand up in a 4–2 victory over the Pit Spitters. Aamir Mitchell (Madonna University) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with one run scored and two stolen bases. Oliver Service (Marshall University) went 1-for-3 with a triple, driving in one run and scoring twice. For Traverse City, Aaron Grant (University of Arkansas Pine Bluff) went 1-for-3 with a double, scoring once and stealing two bases. Caleb Raymond (University of Michigan) earned the win with 1.2 perfect innings, striking out two. Kellen English (Indiana University) picked up the save with a scoreless inning while allowing one hit.
Battle Creek 14, Rockford 8
The Battle Jacks built a commanding lead with a five-run fourth and six-run sixth inning and held off a late push, defeating the Rivets 14–8 despite a five-run rally in the ninth by Rockford. AJ Lucas (Moberly Area CC) was an RBI machine, going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, driving in four runs, scoring twice, and stealing one base. Brendan Thompson (Cal State Bakersfield) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, recording two RBIs and one run scored. Matthew Maulik (University of St. Thomas (MN)) delivered the winning blow with a walk-off grand slam. Mikey Muniz (Pima CC) went 2-for-3 scoring once. CJ Varsho (Winona State University) went 2-for-4 including a double and scoring once. For Thunder Bay, Stevie Waters (University of British Columbia) went 2-for-3 driving in one run and scoring once. The Rox completed the sweep with a 9–6 victory over the Stingers, using a steady offensive attack to secure the win.
