The South Division scored runs in the second through seventh innings in the early game of the Northwoods League Big League Dreams Showcase Monday afternoon to propel the team to a 9-4 win over the North Division. In the nightcap, the South Division nearly overcame an early 7-1 deficit but fell by a score of 7-6.

(July 28, 2013) -- The Northwoods League has announced that Blake Schmit from the Eau Claire Express will be added to the South roster for game one which will be played on Monday, July 29 at 4:05 p.m. (CST) at Warner Park in Madison, Wisconsin. Schmidt was added as an injury replacement for Jake Jefferies of the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
