The Stingers are the newest Northwoods League team. Willmar team officials unveiled the name and logo to a crowd of about 300 people in Willmar on Wednesday night.

Louisiana State freshman catcher Wes Luquette and sophomore outfielder Trey Watkins have signed to play for Madison in 2010.

The St. Cloud River Bats have promoted Wes Sharp as the new Director of Business Operations. Sharp enters his third year with the organization.

Hometown favorite Tony Mueller (Winona State) along with assistant coaches Joe Potulny and Justin Ramsey all will be returning to the La Crosse Loggers in 2010.
