The Duluth Huskies, proud members of the Northwoods League, are looking for energetic and driven interns to join our team! If you are passionate about building a career in the sports industry, this is your chance to put your skills to the test in the real world and gain some experience in the sports and entertainment industry.

We have Internships available year-round that are mostly in person, though some projects can be completed remotely. They are a hands-on, all-encompassing experience that goes far beyond the classroom—giving candidates the chance to build meaningful skills, learn both the creative planning and business sides of sports, and play an important role in creating unforgettable fan experiences. Most importantly, these Interns can develop relationships with fans and local businesses— building connections and professional network!

Duluth Huskies Internships

Duluth Huskies Internships are designed for college students (priority to juniors and seniors) seeking real world experience, and are set to challenge, prepare you for the demands of the fast-paced, professional sports and entertainment industry, and set you apart in any career path you pursue.

Full/Off Season Internships:

Looking to break into the world of Sports Management, get a behind-the-scenes look at how a season comes together, and see what it truly takes to run a sports organization?

The Duluth Huskies Full/Off Season Internship gives you an inside look at all the preparation, planning, and daily operations essential in making the upcoming summer collegiate baseball season a success. Assisting with a wide range of responsibilities that support all areas of the organization—including Ticket Sales, Marketing, Social Media, Sponsorships, Promotional Planning, Community Events, Overall Game Day Preparation, and more!

We provide our Full/Off Season Interns the opportunity to work alongside our passionate staff to learn the ins and outs of Sports Business while helping plan, organize, and execute projects and ideas that directly impact the Huskies success—from developing next seasons promotions and managing giveaways to representing the team at community events and assisting with Marketing/Social Media graphics, trends, campaigns, and analytics. You can expect to attend business meetings, collaborate creatively, and take ownership meaningful work that prepares you for a future career in sports.

What Is The Difference?

Although Full Season Interns are preferred, we offer the Off Season Internships for those unable to commit during the summer months.

Internship start/end dates and length of internship are negotiable and can be discussed during interview. Flexible hours and school credit available upon request.

Full Season Internship: October – Mid August

Full Season Interns get the full sports business experience from pre-season planning through the final pitch of the summer.

Off Season Internship: October – May

Since Interns are not present during the season to see their ideas come to life, they are expected to develop detailed execution plans to ensure their vision is successfully carried out.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for students that are self motivated, organized, eager to learn, and willing to take on anything thrown their way! Must be comfortable taking initiative, working independently, contributing ideas, and ready to a gain a genuine understanding of the commitment and work ethic it takes to succeed in the sports industry. Flexible hours and school credit are available upon request.

Summer Internships (May – Mid August)

There’s nothing like summer baseball at Wade Stadium — and no Internship like these!

Our Summer Interns are the heart of the action, assisting with every area of operations—from game day execution and fan engagement to marketing, promotions, and community events.

ALL Summer Interns Will:

  • Help set up, operate, and break down game day promotions, activities, and group outings
  • Support fan engagement and share new ideas
  • Assist across multiple departments to ensure smooth game day operations
  • Provide outstanding customer service to fans, sponsors, and players

Candidates must be ready to commit to long hours at the ballpark during the entire summer, especially when the team is at home (60-80 hours/week during homestands). Applicants should not have another job and as a result, will walk away with invaluable experience, a professional network, and a summer you will never forget.

Our Summer Internships provide experience in the areas listed below. While placement in a specific department is not guaranteed, you will gain hands on experience across all key areas of the operation—from promotions and fan engagement to sales, marketing, and game day management

Please be aware that you will be expected to learn and help out in ALL of these areas no matter what position you are hired for.
