DEMPSEY SELECTED AS NORTHWOODS LEAGUE ALL-STAR

For Evan Dempsey, the stats don’t lie. Whether he is pitching, hitting, or patrolling the outfield, Dempsey is one of the very best in the Northwoods, and the league has taken notice.

On Friday morning, the Northwoods League announced the rosters for the 2024 Northwoods League All-Star Game to be held in Mankato, Minnesota on Tuesday, July 23. The list included right-handed pitcher Evan Dempsey, who will be the Hot Tots’ sole representative at the event. Dempsey will join forces with the Great Plains Division’s best talent to face the Great Lakes All-Stars on Tuesday night.

Voted in by coaches and media from around the Great Plains Division as a pitcher, Dempsey will take to the hill at ISG Field with some already impeccable statistics this season. Having appeared in eight games as pitcher, Dempsey has allowed four earned runs over 18 innings for an ERA of 2.00. His strikeout number of 22 is tied for the most among active Hot Tots pitchers.
