WILLMAR, Minn. – Willmar capitalized on three errors in the third inning to break a scoreless tie with five unearned runs on four hits and led the rest of the way in a 7-2 victory against Alexandria at Bill Taunton Stadium Tuesday night.

Two batters later, Michael Suchy (Florida Gulf Coast) lined a ball up the middle to score two runs and give the Stingers the first lead of the game. Kenny Roberts (Alabama) immediately followed with an RBI double down the left field line to drive home Rowan and Suchy to give the Stingers a 4-0 advantage. Roberts later scored on the third error of the inning.
