WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wisc. – Tanner Banks (Salt Lake College), Sean Dwyer (Florida Gulf Coast), Eduardo Gonzalez (Alcorn State), Ricky Knapp (Florida Gulf Coast) and Jason Leblebijian (Bradley) all played in the 2011 Marshfield Clinic Northwoods League All-Star Game and contributed to the North Division’s 6-3 victory Monday night at Witter Field, home of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

Leblebijian and Dwyer each started and played the entire game at shortstop and designated hitter, respectively. Leblebijian reached base twice and had a stolen base, while Dwyer had an RBI single for the North Division All-Stars. Gonzalez went 1-for-2 in the game with an RBI single. Banks and Knapp each faced one batter and retired the hitter they faced on two pitches.

Willmar will resume its second half of the season with a doubleheader Wednesday at Duluth beginning at 5:05 p.m. The Stingers will return home Friday for Diamond Dig Night presented by Elmquist Jewelers & Q102. The first 125 women at the game will receive a scoop, and 250 women will compete to find a $1,000 diamond hidden in the infield dirt after the game. Gates open at 6:05 p.m. for Friday’s contest.
