WILLMAR–Due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, Tuesday night’s game between the Willmar Stingers and the Alexandria Beetles has been postponed. As a result, the Stingers and Beetles will play a pair of seven inning games on Wednesday, July 28th starting at 6:05 pm at Bill Taunton Stadium, with the gates opening at 5:00 pm.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday’s game will be able to exchange their game ticket for a ticket to any other Stingers 2010 regular season home game, based on availability.  Exchanges will be available at the Stingers ticket office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm or at the gate prior to any remaining 2010 home game. Fans with tickets to Wednesday’s Sweet Corn Night presented by Central Lakes Cooperative will gain admission to both games of the doubleheader. Again, the gates will open one hour earlier, at 5:00 pm. The 2010 season is presented by Charter.

As a result, the Stingers and Beetles will play a pair of seven inning games at Knute Nelson Memorial Park in Alexandria on Friday, August 13th, with the first game starting at 6:05 pm.

Fans with tickets to Thursday night’s game can present their tickets in Alexandria on Friday and recieve free admission to both games of the doubleheader, OR fans can hold onto their tickets and exchange them next season for equivalent admission to any 2011 regular season home game excluding the 2011 home opener. The 2010 season is presented by Charter.
