WILLMAR–Due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, Tuesday night’s game between the Willmar Stingers and the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers has been postponed. As a result, the Stingers and Lunkers will play a pair of seven inning games on Wednesday, August 11th starting at 6:05 pm at Bill Taunton Stadium, with the gates opening at 5:00 pm.  The first 300 kids 14 years and under will receive a Stingers Backpack presented by Bernick’s Pepsi.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday’s game will be able to exchange their game ticket for a ticket to any other Stingers 2010 regular season home game, based on availability.  Exchanges will be available at the Stingers ticket office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm or at the gate prior to any remaining 2010 home game. Fans with tickets to Wednesday’s Swenson Motor Company Ticket to Drive Night will gain admission to both games of the doubleheader. Again, the gates will open one hour earlier, at 5:00 pm. The 2010 season is presented by Charter.
