WILLMAR, MN- The Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League are excited to announce that there will be a fireworks extravaganza following the Stingers game this Saturday, July 3rd against the Mankato MoonDogs at 7:05 pm. Saturday is “VFW Night – A Salute to Veterans” presented by Willmar VFW Post 1639, KDJA 1590 AM, the River 97.3 FM at Bill Taunton Stadium.
The Stingers will be playing their July 4th game in Spicer. The Green Lake Diamonds will turn into “Bee Hive – North” when the Stingers take on the MoonDogs, with the first pitch at 6:05 pm. Gates will open one-hour prior to the first pitch. It’s “Mini Bat Night” Sunday presented by United Prairie Bank, with the first 250 kids 14 and under receiving a Stingers Mini Bat.
Single game tickets for these events and all home games are currently on-sale at the Stingers ticket office location at the ballpark from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday or by calling 320-222-2010.
