WILLMAR, MN- The Willmar Stingers are excited to announce that Perfect Game USA named the Stingers one of the top summer collegiate teams for the 2010 season.  Perfect Game USA compiles a weekly ranking of the top 30 summer collegiate league teams and recently released their final rankings.

After winning the Northwoods League Championship, the Eau Claire Express finished the summer season as the top team according to Perfect Game USA.  Also making the list were the Wisconsin Woodchucks at the number 19 ranking.

The Stingers remained near the Top 30 most of the year, and at season’s end, the Stingers were listed under “Others Receiving Consideration” on Perfect Game USA’s final breakdown which ranks the Stingers within the top 35-40 teams in the country.  Because of the hard work put forth by players and coaches, the staff, and unyielding support by our fans the Stingers were recognized as one of the best teams in the country.
