WILLMAR, Minn.—Saturday’s doubleheader featuring Barry’s Baseball Giveaway Night presented by Lake Region Bank has unfortunately been postponed due to continued unplayable field conditions. The record rainfall in the Willmar area has made the playing surface at Bill Taunton Stadium unplayable as standing water still sits on areas of the infield.
 
Barry’s Baseball Giveaway Night presented by Lake Region Bank will be made up as part of a doubleheader at a to-be-determined date and time. Fans who had tickets to the Saturday’s game, June 21, can exchange them for any regular season home game during the rest of the 2014 season based on availability.
 
The Stingers would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we try and work to make the field playable. The entire Stingers organization is eager to get back to playing baseball at Bill Taunton Stadium and we will continue to update you on the field conditions.
