Ballpark enhancements: Part 4 of 4

Willmar, Minn. – As the excitement has built over the last four weeks, the Stingers are thrilled to announce the fourth ballpark enhancement to take place at Bill Taunton Stadium. Keeping in the lines of building a better fan experience, the organization will upgrade all the hospitality suites this spring in preparation of the eighth season of Northwoods League baseball.

The new and improved suite experience will include permanent sun shades and new aluminum barstools with seatbacks in all three locations (Arnold’s Case IH RedZone Suite, J.D Kreps Financial Group Suite and the Prairie’s Edge Seats at the Edge Suite). The yellow and black barstools will surround the stadium, including the Chappell Central Diamond View seating area, which is located right behind the Stingers dugout.

“We are very excited about what is going to take place at the ballpark this spring,” Co-owner Ryan Voz said. “The feedback we have received so far in the community regarding these projects have seemed to hit a home run amongst the fans.”

The previous three announcements have included a home plate club membership, a ballpark beach and a newly created dugout suite as improvements for the 2017 season. The Stingers kicked off the enhancements this winter with partner Christianson, PLLP, unveiling the Christianson Home Plate Club Membership. A total of 11 tables with swivel seats will be right behind home plate, allowing fans to witness a game from a whole new perspective. A limited number of tables are still available as season tickets for the season. Each membership will include a parking spot, a wait staff and unlimited food and drink.

The second announcement included a fun baseball beach-goer experience as fans will be able to enjoy the game on the beach. The EcoWater Beach will be open to the public on a nightly basis and include festive games such as bean bags and jenga.

The third unveiling in the series was a newly created dugout suite that will be created this spring. This area will allow smaller groups the same hospitality experience that has been offered to larger group outings in the past.

The Stingers organization will continue to make announcements this coming spring as the coaching staff and players will be announced in the next couple of weeks. If you would like to know more information about the latest enhancements at the Bee Hive, contact a staff member in the front office at 320-222-2010.

The 2017 season of Stingers Baseball is presented by Marcus Construction. “From start to finish we’ll make your job easier and build a facility you will be proud of.
