Willmar, MN – The Willmar Stingers and the Dan Baker Foundation have announced the 2^nd Annual First Responders & Firefighters Appreciation Night. On Thursday, June 15 the Stingers host the Bismarck Larks for a night dedicated to the men and women who selflessly serve the residents of West Central Minnesota. The night will not only recognize these individuals for their commitment and time served in their communities, it will also double as an event to promote awareness of addiction and provide support for those who need and are seeking treatment.

First responders and firefighter departments throughout West Central Minnesota will receive complimentary tickets as well as a pre-game picnic at Bill Taunton Stadium courtesy of Dave & Mary Baker and the Dan Baker Foundation. A pre-game ceremony will take place honoring individuals from area departments and booths will be set up on the concourse area promoting addiction awareness and support.

The mission of the Dan Baker Foundation is to provide strength and support to persons, families and organizations fighting addiction. As communities in and around West Central Minnesota see an epidemic of opioid addiction and overdose deaths, the Dan Baker Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives for individuals and families that have been affected as well as provide support for first responder departments.
