BISMARCK, N.D. – The Stingers were unable to come back from an early deficit in Bismarck Wednesday evening. 

The Larks scored six runs in the second inning to take a 7-0 lead. After two complete scoreless innings to follow, the Stingers scored four in the fifth. The scoring begun with Eric Del Prado's (Willamette) first home run of the season. The two-run homer over the left field wall drove in Tyler Murray (Hawaii). 

Later in the inning, Brady Shockey (USC) brought in another pair of runs with a double to left field. Shockey extended his hit streak to eight straight games.

Del Prado had three total RBI in the game after adding another in the eighth inning. His single drove in Eddie Estrada (Minnesota) who got on base with a triple to left field.

Del Prado has now driven in four runs in the last three games. 

It was the first-ever meeting between the Stingers and the new Northwoods League expansion team. The Stingers are now 5-4 on the season after the 10-6 loss.

Hayden Petrovick (San Diego State) is expected to make his second start on the mound Thursday evening. He will go against Bismarck's Frank Greco. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and you can listen live for free at WillmarStingers.com.
