ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Stingers completed their five-game road stretch with a 9-0 loss Sunday afternoon. 

The Rox took an early lead with six runs in the first inning. Following the first inning, the Stingers were unable to put any runs across to tie it up.

Bissonette had two base hits in his Stingers debut. At Baylor, he hit .272 with 21 RBI in the 2017 season. 

Brady Shockey (USC) collected two hits to continue his on-base streak to 12 straight games. 

The Stingers pitchers retired the Rox in order in four different innings. The Stingers commited zero errors in the field, continuing their defensive success this season.

Willmar moves to 7-6 on the season and a 4-4 record on the road. They are now 24-19 all-time against the Rox.

The Stingers return home to complete the home-and-home against the Rox Monday evening. It will be Community Christian School Night presented by North American State Bank.
