The Willmar Stingers and J.D. Kreps Financial Group have joined efforts to recognize local veterans in the community this summer. During the Stingers home game next Wednesday, June 28th, nine local veterans will be honored at Bill Taunton Stadium and each of them will also receive their very own baseball card.  

These veterans will be recognized on the field as a part of a Veteran’s Appreciation Night. As fans enter this stadium this night, the 1st 250 fans will also receive a complete set of baseball cards of these local heroes courtesy of J.D. Kreps Financial Group. 

Congratulations to the veterans who have been chosen as part of this celebration are:

• David Hagen
• James Johnson
• Lois Banken
• Nick Braun
• Richard Wog

The card set will represent each branch of the military and honor those who are currently serving our country, veterans who have served in the past but are no longer active, and those who bravely fought for our country, but have since passed away.

Each veteran selected will also receive complimentary tickets and concessions vouchers courtesy of J.D. Kreps Financial Group and the night will conclude with a patriotic post-game fireworks display.
